This course is designed to meet the Essential Skills standards and benchmarks in physical science, science concepts and processes, history and nature of science, and scientific inquiry.
This course is inquiry-based, including a variety of laboratory experiments, and will cover the scientific method; the metric system; and motion, acceleration, forces, energy and waves. Physical science force will also prepare the student for further study in the advanced courses in physics. |
